Artist Statement: Snowshoeing along the ridge, one can look to the dramatic panorama that unfolds but the micro landscape beneath one’s feet is also compelling. I try to capture the brief moment that exists between the seen and absorbed reality.

There Are Many Other Legends
Marcia Santore

Dimensions: 30 x 40 x 1.5
Artist Statement: There Are Many Other Legends plays on incomplete memories of glimpsed and imagined spaces, half-remembered dreams, and liminal states. This painting is part of a series inspired by indeterminate interior and exterior spaces seen from within and without, and the potential for these spaces to tell or conceal multiple, unfolding stories. The title comes from a translation of the epic poem Kalavala.

Pool Series#6
Ann Saunderson

Dimensions: 24 x 30 x 1.5

Riffs on Mondrian
Riffs on Mondrian
Cilla Sheehan

Dimensions: 10 x 7 x 2
Artist Statement: The ordered arrangement of geometric shapes gives Riffs a mathematical feel. The primary colors are clean and simple and bring to mind a Dutch abstract art movement (de Stijl The Style) that used straight lines and primary colors to seek harmony.

Fleur di vie
Elsa Voelcker

Dimensions: 43 x 32 x 1
Artist Statement: Elsa Voelcker - Artist statement I have long been interested in gardening and looking closely at flowers. M I am interested in their visual beauty and finding each one’s individual character. I like to get close, exploring them much the way an insect might. When I began looking at flowers with a macro lens, my images became linked with the powerful communicatory capacity of color to convey a flower’s presence - a presence sensual, spiritual and metaphoric.

Parisian Umbrellas
Brenda Wilbert

Dimensions: 11 x 14 x 1.5
Artist Statement: This artwork was inspired by my love for umbrellas and the streets of Paris. I have vivid memories of strolling past cafes on a rainy day and admiring the architecture. Wendy Wilson

Dimensions: 17 x 21 x 2
Artist Statement: My work is a combination of plein air and studio in watercolor, oil and mixed media each influencing the other. I have allowed my imagination and observations of nature to come together to create some works that are realistic while others move to more abstract. I am never satisfied pursuing one medium hence I paint in oils, watercolors and ink; create block, eco and mono prints; make books and work with fiber and found objects.

Wellspring (diptych, oil & cold wax)
Marilyn Wyzga

Dimensions: 10 x 12 x 1
Artist Statement: I discovered the delight of making art at a kindergarten easel. I’ve created in media from pencil to pen & ink, watercolor, print and clay. Most recently, I’ve delved into oils & cold wax medium, a highly tactile material reminiscent of finger painting. Through a process of obscuring & revealing, by applying color & cold wax then scraping, lifting or layering, an expression emerges in the form of an image. My works tend to convey abundant movement and flow with the organic forms found in nature.
